1. CDG equipment
     Clinical Diagnostic Laboratory of the German Diagnostic Center is set up according to the highest quality standards required by international norms on laboratory activities. The laboratory is equipped with first class high-tech devices provided by Hoffman La Roche, Siemens, Sysmex companies, and all this is due to the fruitful cooperation with leading world producers of equipment and reagents. Practically, the whole laboratory working process is automated. The integrated information system facilitates greatly the work of medical workers, and the accuracy of examination results cannot be doubted.
     The Clinical Diagnostic Laboratory of the German Diagnostic Center uses only Greener Bio-One vacutainer harvesting systems (sterile and disposable). All biological samples are labeled with barcode, which means that samples of a person can not be confused in any way with those of another person. Absolutely all results are archived and stored a long time in electronic form.

     The Clinical Diagnostic Laboratory of the German Diagnostic Center is equipped with the following:
1. Cobas “e 411” Immunochemical Analyzer, Hoffman La Roche.
     It is fully automated equipment for immunochemical analysis. It is a technology that allows getting the results with the highest accuracy, specificity and reproducibility. To be used, you the reagents, calibrators and controls should be uploaded. Barcode includes all required information, including test methods and calibration data. Emergency samples have priority, regardless of the position they are introduced. There are no result errors.
2. Cobas “Integra 400” Biochemical Analyzer, Hoffman La Roche.
     It is a fully automated analyzer, which operates under 3 principles:
- Absorption photometry;
- Turbidity;
- Fluorescent ionoselective polarimetry.
     The automatic adjustment method allows the system to be always ready for use, where required, and reduces significantly operator’s intervention. Cobas “Integra 400” Biochemical Analyzer with a precisely controlled temperature always meets the conditions required for the research. Reagents are packed in compact cassettes of single size, provided with barcode, which ensures quick registration of the information about the reagents. Reconstitution of reagents is carried out automatically in the device, thus eliminating accidental errors due to manual dripping. Up to 90 samples can be introduced at any time. Emergency samples always have priority, regardless of the stand they are introduced into barcode reader of the Cobas “Integra 400” Biochemical Analyzer ensures correct and safe entry of values, as well as archiving and storing test results. Quality control programs monitor the operability and accuracy of the samples.
3. SYSMEX XT-2000i Siemens Hematologic Analyzer.
     It is a type of fully automated equipment for 30 parameters based on the flow cytofluorometry and laser semiconductor, yielding high quality results.
     The technical possibilities include:
- Identification and scanning of the sample;
- Learning complete leukocyte formula;
- Calculation of reticulocytes, including maturity indices for the efficiency of monitoring of erythropoietic activity;
- Calculation of optical additional thrombocytes to obtain accurate results;
- Internal and external qualitative control due to the full range of available programs;
- Dynamic archiving of all patient’s results.
4. Dade Behring Coagulation Analyzer, Siemens.
     It is used to carry out all the traditional coagulation and special tests. Reagent dripping sets off the measuring, that will stop automatically when the clot is formed. It is a photooptical camera which combines the advantages of mechanical and optical techniques of clot capturing through turbid and densitometric method. It has two channels, which allows simultaneous measurement of two samples, and a keyboard, which provides a very simple way of working and a screen that simultaneously displays the results of both samples.
5. ELISA, Tecan semi-automated system for immunoenzymatic assay.
     It is a method for the detection of molecules using an antigen-antibody complex combined with an enzyme. The system is based on a selection and highly sensitive quantitative and qualitative specificity of immunological reactions. It is non-radiant.
     Sunrise universal reader available in the ELISA semi-automated system is developed according to the European directive on in vitro diagnosis and using modern technologies in its operation. ELIZA system allows applying all immunoenzymatic methods in clinical diagnosis. Magellan software checks fully the results. The results are archived.
6. Urysis 1100 Urine Analyzer, Hoffman La Roche.
     This system operates under the principle of reflectometric photometry. It provides full information about pH, optical density, leukocytes, nitrates, proteins, glucose, ketones, urobilinogen, bilirubin, occult blood (erythrocytes, hemoglobin). The device can identify patient’s samples, archive them and determine the damaged forms of urine elements. Strips are present in several layers, favoring the results’ accuracy.
     Certain complex and rare studies can be carried out in Germany, in the laboratories of Limbach Group – the largest special group in Germany.
